ContactsLaw uses
controlled accounts to make automatic decisions about which
accounts to post special types of
transactions (such as
debtor receipts or
bills) to. Since these controlled accounts are used as the basis for certain types of reports, statistics and listings within the program, the
activity cannot function properly without them.
When starting an activity that requires a particular controlled account, it will either prompt for the creation of that account, or fail with an error message. Be advised as to the requirements of each accounting activity before making it available to
members.
